Dossier [edit | Edit source]

This dossier section is an exact copy of the texts of the dossiers that the researcher Helena wrote. It is possible that there are differences between what is described and the behavior in the game.

β€œ
Wild

Tyrannosaurus Dominum is a killing machine, one of the deadliest creatures on the island.

Mostly active when looking for food or defending its nest. The most sensible behavior is to stay away from him. I have not yet seen a creature on the island that could challenge the tyrannosaurus for control. His bite, stomp, tail just plain brute force.

Although it's a different subspecies of the Tyrannosaurus, everyone I've met still calls it "Rex" or "T-Rex". I stopped teaching anyone a long time ago, especially the few lunatics I saw wearing Tyrannosaurus teeth as a chain.

Domesticated

Taming a tyrannosaurus is without a doubt the primary goal of any warlord or warring tribe. It is not without reason that the tyrannosaurus is also called the king of the dinosaurs (or in this genus, the "lord"). A tribe that manages to tame a tyrannosaurus has almost nothing to fear.

Behavior [edit | Edit source]

Becomes highly aggressive Tyrannosaurus attack any living thing except large predators. They are extremely bulky, but they have surprisingly high levels of stamina and health. In doing so, they outperform the more agile and faster ones Spinosaur of the same level clearly. They're incredibly slow in the water, making them prone to attack from below, but their size and strength make up for these drawbacks.

As mentioned in the dossier, the applies Rex as the ultimate predator on the island, which makes it a formidable weapon when tamed.

Appearance [edit | Edit source]

The Tyrannosaurus is an exceptionally large (and often colorful) theropod dinosaur that moves bipedally. It is covered with small, circular scales, often interrupted by large osteoderms, but the lower abdomen is smooth and tanned. Along the neck and back there is a large ridge of hard bone plates that protect the vertebrae from the jaws of other carnivores (including other T. dominum). They have long legs that end in three thick padded toes, each decorated with a large claw. Tyrannosaurus are regularly over 15 meters in length, but they have disproportionately small arms that are strongly muscled and extremely thick. When tamed and ridden, no other carnivores will attack other than other Rexe, Spinosaur, Giganotosaurus, Yutyrannus and Therizinosaurus unless you attack first. This allows you to travel comfortably with the Rex without being chased by other creatures.

This section shows the natural colors and regions. For illustration purposes, the regions below are colored red over an albino rex. The colored boxes that appear below the description of each region are the colors that Rex is randomly generated with to give an overall range of the natural color scheme. Hover over a color to see its name and ID.

Server administrators can use the information of a region with the console command.
For example, the Rex's "body" region becomes magenta.
