What level does Swablu develop in emerald

Wablu is a Pokémon of the types Normal and Flight and has existed since the third generation of the game. It forms the basic form of Altaria.

Appearance and build

Wablu is a small, sky-blue, round Pokémon with white and fluffy wings. It has two feet, each with two pointed toes. The wings resemble clouds and one cannot identify what it looks like beneath the woolly layer. Its face consists of a white beak, the upper beak being slightly longer than the lower beak, and two small black eyes. On the head there are two protruding light blue "feathers" that look like hair. Its rear part is also provided with blue tail feathers, which make it easier for it to fly.

In its shimmering form, only the otherwise blue body of Wablu is colored light yellow.

Attacks and abilities

By leveling up, Wablu mainly learns status attacks, most of which are of the Normal type; offensively, the relationship between physical and special attacks is quite balanced. However, it also learns attacks of other damage classes through TMs and VMs.

In addition, Wablu has the ability Inner Power, which allows all status changes of Wablu such as B. To cure poisoning or paralysis when exchanging or after a Pokémon battle. The hidden abilityCloud Seven, which only have rare specimens, ensures that weather effects no longer have any influence on the fight, and that opponents, including Altaria himself, can no longer use them in their favor.

Behavior and habitat

Wablu is a very trusting Pokémon and is therefore not afraid of people. It likes to land on strangers' heads and stay there like a padded hat. It also loves to clean dirty objects by cleaning them with its soft wings. If, however, his wings get dirty, Wablu cannot relax, goes to the nearest river and washes himself there. Furthermore, Wablu does not like surroundings that are totally polluted. In spring they live very close to cities.

Wablu is the first part of a two-stage development series. It can develop into altaria.

The main characteristics of Wablu, which are defined by the sky-blue body with two feathers on the head, white, cloud-like elements and an equally white beak, are retained after development. Wablu's body is reminiscent of a bird. Its body is completely blue and its wings look like they are clouds. As it develops into Altaria, the cloud-like structure also runs through the belly side of the body. The Pokémon has an elegant, long neck. The feathers on the head are getting longer. In the mega development, it is noticeable that the wings of this Pokémon in particular are significantly more voluminous and its body is less stocky. Above the tail, on the neck and on the head, Mega Altaria is adorned with the cloud-like ornamentation, with the part above the tail being so gigantic that it makes up a large part of the total volume of this Mega Pokémon.

Together with a few others, it belongs to the Pokémon in which one type is replaced by another through development. However, it is the only one in which both types are replaced in the last stage and therefore also the only one where the first and last stage do not share a single type. With that it belongs - apart from the evolitions - to the development series with most types and type combinations.

In the games in the main series, development is triggered at level 35. In addition, since the 6th generation of games, it has been able to mega-evolve into mega-altaria if it carries altarianite.

Origin and meaning of the name

Wablu's physique is probably based on an Ultramarine Lorikeet, a species of parrot or a hut warbler, a species of thrush that is called "bluebird" in English because of its intense blue color. Wablu's great confidence and the habit of sitting on people's heads is also reminiscent of the titjaywho is known for being happy to be fed by humans. Its wings are made of cotton wool or fleecy clouds.

The names in the various languages are made up of words such as blue, wadding, swallow and the double star Epsilon Draconis, also called Tyl, in the constellation Dragon together. The latter could be an indication of its development, with its normal type being replaced by dragon.
