How do I clean my Waterpik
How should I clean my humidifier?
The ResMed humidifier instructions for use contain instructions for cleaning the type of device you are using and its components. You can download a copy of the instructions for use for your humidifier from the support page.
Basically, you should wash the water chamber daily with a mild detergent in warm water, then rinse it thoroughly with clean water and let it dry out of direct sunlight. You should check the water chamber every month for wear and tear and replace the water pan if any of its components are cracked, discolored, or deposited.
Please do not use any of the following agents to clean your humidifier, as they can damage the product and shorten its useful life:
- Bleach, solutions based on chlorine, alcohol or ammonia
- Moisturizing, antibacterial or glycerine-based soaps
- Water softening agents and non-approved descaling agents
