3 years ago I bought 3 pieces of the "AEG Orbita 3-piece set LED recessed spotlight spot recessed spot dimmable warm white 230 V". Unfortunately, one set has now been canceled. Since I use all 3 sets, I was able to confine the error safely to the transformer with the model designation "AEG K67-15A500" by exchanging the transformers (or constant current sources?) (See photo).

Unfortunately, my dealer does not sell any spare parts and has rejected my request due to the expired warranty.

my uncle has a broken Amex 601 switchboard.
We opened the device and initially expected defective electrolytic capacitors -> date of manufacture 1994.
With a further measurement we found that the PTC switches off the system after approx. 1 minute (temperature / current too high).
Then we unsoldered the transformer in order to measure the secondary voltages without load.
We noticed that the transformer got very hot after a short time (no longer to be touched). After about 5 minutes on leeward, there was no automatic. Shutdown (temperature fuse in the transformer 130GC) -> maybe too short?

Can it be that the transformer is internally (encapsulated) defective. -> The secondary output voltages are correct, only the temperature seems very high to me.

Can you confirm our assumption that the excessive temperature is not OK? is, so the transformer is also defective?

on my induction cooker from Privileg Pri.No. 60190 type A 9645 the induction field no longer works.
It only shows a "-" (minus) for all 4 plates.
Lt. Bed.Anl. this means that the stove is too warm, but it cannot be switched on when it is cold.
Does this hob have a PTC or something similar in it somewhere that only releases the juice after a certain temperature, if so, this part can be broken ???

Normally you can hear a relay clicking when you switch it on, but this sound is gone.

Hello everybody!

The dimmer on my floor lamp is defective. The lamp (12V halogen) remains dark.

The dimmer is from Kaoyi Electronic (KHT-6021A) and has the following data:
Pri: 220-240V ~ 50 / 60Hz 0.26A
Sec: 11.4V ~ MAX. 60W

The dimmer does not contain a fuse, the potentiometer is OK. Therefore I assume that the two semiconductors are probably gone. I have unsoldered them. Unfortunately the name is very blurred. But I think I can see that both of them say "U1S128" on top and "69L128" on the bottom. Can anyone do anything with it? Can't find anything on the internet. Can it even be that 2 identical semiconductors are installed in the dimmer? As far as I know, there is always a diac and a triac with phase control.

Below you can see the views of the circuit board. The semiconductor pins are outlined in red. The two green pins are connected to each other. The potentiometer is connected to the pin circled in blue. Maybe that will help!

I have a very peculiar problem that I don't know what to do next! I have a good working circuit. After a few weeks or even months, the transformer keeps blowing out, the reason is unclear to me. I have the circuit primarily with the rated current, sec. fused with half the nominal current. The fuses are OK, but the transformer has a winding short on the secondary side (different resistance values, voltage that is too low) and becomes extremely hot.
With the 2x12V transformer and a pos. and negative voltage regulator for 18V I have a supply of max. + -18V (only for limitation). I also have a pos. 5V voltage regulator for the logic and a couple of LEDs.
Transformer: DAGNALL D2034 Pri .: 2x115V / 40mA Sec .: 2x12V / 250mA
I added the circuit for the supply voltage as a picture.
What could be the problem?
- Is the current higher than the negative?
- Latchup effect (why)?
