Miracle cureJuniper oil: miracle cure for joint pain and urinary tract infections

The blue-green juniper berries, cones of the juniper, grow on evergreen shrubs or small trees up to 12m high. The slightly yellowish oil obtained from the steam distillation of the dried berries is said to have not only numerous physical but also psychological effects. The juniper oil can be used internally as well as externally.

This is how juniper oil helps you with physical complaints:

For joint pain

Juniper oil can work wonders for muscle pain, back pain, rheumatism, arthritis and tension in the neck and shoulder area, even with sprains and strains.

The oil can be used in two different ways. When bathing, about 4 g of juniper oil can be added to 140 liters of bath water OR the affected area is rubbed with a little diluted oil. You can mix the oil with any vegetable oil, for example.

Caution: The undiluted oil can irritate the skin and should therefore not be used on the skin. To be on the safe side, always read the package insert one more time.

For urinary tract infections

If you have a bladder infection, a homemade compress that is placed on the lower abdomen will help. To do this will be

  • 2 drops of juniper oil
  • 2 drops of eucalyptus
  • and 1 drop of sandalwood

mixed in 500ml hot water.

But you can also simply mix 3 drops of oil with a teaspoon of honey, dissolve it in a cup with lukewarm water or tea (not black tea!) And drink it.

When affected by a flue

The juniper oil also helps with a cold or a sore throat, which, like a urinary tract infection, is dissolved in warm water with a little honey and drunk.

Likewise, a hot steam bath can work wonders. Between 10 to 15 drops of juniper oil should be added to a bowl filled with hot water. Inhale the steam over the bowl for 5-10 minutes.

With loss of appetite

Here, the juniper oil is used internally, as in the case of a urinary tract infection or a cold. Another way to do this is to put a few drops on a sugar cube and then ingest it.

For high blood pressure

Since juniper also has a blood circulation-promoting effect, it should help to chew juniper berries. The internal use of juniper is said to even help with bruising.

For cellulite

Juniper oil also has a dehydrating effect. In the case of cellulite, it helps to massage the affected area with the diluted oil (as with joint pain).

For skin problems

Juniper oil is often found in creams or lotions for acne or skin problems in general.

With

  • 2 drops of lemon balm oil
  • 2 drops of juniper oil
  • 1 drop of marjoram oil
  • and 2 drops of bergamot oil

you can make your own effective Lotion against acne mix together and then apply.

With lumbago

In the case of lumbago, the juniper oil is used as a bath additive, as in the case of joint pain - about 4g of juniper oil in 140l of bath water.

For menstrual cramps

Similar to a cold or a sore throat, a few drops of juniper oil are placed in a bowl of hot water to inhale. If you have menstrual cramps, add a few drops of cypress oil and yarrow oil.

With negative energies

And juniper is also said to help against negative energies and thoughts with its calming and cleansing effect, for example by fumigating. There are even sprays that are supposed to provide positive energies.

Be careful when collecting juniper berries yourself (in Germany for example in the L√ľneburg Heath). There is a risk of confusion with poisonous berries. However, you can get the dried berries cheaply from the spices in the supermarket or the oil in drug stores and pharmacies.

Pregnant women should never use the oil or berries! These could harm the child.
