Brompton gears how to adjust the drum

Matura fuzzy 8611 error code CE

  • G'day,

    my Matura Fuzzy 8611
    Prod no. 099.250-3
    Privilege number: 6853
brought the [definition = 3,0] error message [/ definition] CE and three lights blinked
(wash, rinse, spin - I think)

Now I've read here that the AEG parts the
Water switch is. Ati Profectis, however, they have the term
Water switch not in their computer and they wanted /
could not tell me now what could be broken.

Is my Mature an AEG machine?
Can someone help me with the [definition = 3.0] error message [/ definition] CE?

    Thx in advance,
    arglhzlmpf

  • Hello!

Yes, your device is an AEG device. CE means water switch failure. I would order the spare part from Profectis, which are cheaper than AEG directly.
But now I don't know exactly under which matchcode the water switch is managed at Profectis. Ask about the lid of the detergent drawer. The friendly lady at Profectis is unfortunately not a technician, you have to describe exactly what you want.
Then it should also work with Profectis.

If you have a professional branch near you (like mine only 1km:]) then go there. I can always take a look at the exploded view if something is unclear. They also got the switch. even there.

If you have no idea, just leave the screwdriver in place

  • Hello Andy!

I have NEVER been allowed to look at an exploded view at the Profectis Mannheim branch. I don't know why they're having such a hard time with it. But you might think they have a high-security wing there.

  • I have NEVER been allowed to look at an exploded view at the Profectis Mannheim branch.

    Don't they like you there?
People are always very helpful to me. If a part cannot be identified, I can pick it out from the exploded view.

If you have no idea, just leave the screwdriver in place

  • So first of all thanks for the answers.

So then I'll go to Profectis, it's only about 20 km
    umpf

If I got that right on the phone
then the lady has an exploit on her computer
looked. So it should also be possible for me if I go there

By the way, she only spoke of a part for 7 euros -
when that seemed a bit cheap to me (too nice to ...)
she picked out the "something ... DECKEL", which then supposedly
Should cost over 70 euros. But that comes back to me
    a good 20 euros too expensive ?!

    Well, let's see,

  • Hello
Here are again instructions on how to change such a lid for the detergent dispenser.

Whereby the Et number in that thread does not of course apply to your device. The 0898718 for a mere 45 € + VAT is right there.

At AEG, the part costs a few euros more.

  • Hello!

If the switch is mechanically jammed, you can save yourself the exchange.
I've already done this with a few people who don't use fabric softener and prewash.
Remove the drive of the switch and set it so that the water is hollowed into the chamber of the main wash cycle.
The drive then only turns idly and reports the correct position to the machine. Water is then only let in through the chamber and the detergent can be added to the chamber as usual. Or straight into the drum.
As I said, it only works when it is jammed. If it works and does not give correct feedback, all that remains is to swap.

  • @edwin & others
    thx for the tip.
Yesterday I removed the part (thanks Inge).
Had read something about gears in another thread,
so unscrewed the protective cap - and -
in fact the gears are jammed! (It's a cheap construction; it's something like a predetermined breaking point> - (
The orange gear was unfortunately damaged (the penultimate tooth is putted)

But I absolutely need the fabric softener compartment (otherwise you have
a board instead of a sweater).

    Three questions:
    1. Is it worth setting the gears correctly again, or is it jammed too quickly because of missing teeth)

    2. If yes to 1: Does anyone know how to set the three gears correctly? Don't get so clever from my attempts.

    3. If no to 1: The only one of the three seems to be that the orange gear cannot be loosened; you can just do the others
lose weight. So replace the whole switch (annoying!) Or
is there any way to expand the orange part?

    Greeting,
    arglhzlmpf

  • Hello
I can only advise you to complete the part. to swap. Many people have tried to fix it by fiddling with the gears. Some success stories were soon revised.
You just leave time and nerves.
